Getting started
Download ScanAI
Search for ScanAI on the App Store and install it. Requires iOS 16 or later.
Create an account
Open the app and register with your email and password. Your account tracks your scan quota and history.
Grant photo library access
On first launch, ScanAI will ask for access to your Photos library so you can upload images and videos for analysis.
Run your first scan
Tap the upload area on the home screen, select an image or video, and tap Scan Now. You'll see your result in a few seconds.
Common issues
Can't upload an image
Go to Settings → Privacy → Photos and make sure ScanAI has access. If you chose Limited Access, you may need to select specific photos manually.
Scan takes more than 10 seconds
Check your internet connection. For video files, try uploading a shorter clip or exporting at a lower resolution.
Unexpected or low confidence results
Heavily compressed or very small images may produce uncertain results. For best accuracy, use full-resolution screenshots or exports.
App crashes on launch
Check the App Store for an update. If you're on the latest version, try deleting and reinstalling the app. Your scan history is linked to your account — sign in again after reinstalling to restore access.
Scan history not loading
Pull down to refresh on the History tab. If history is empty after refresh, you may have been logged out — sign in again to restore access.
